1. Chicken & Avocado
This may seem a bit strange for this time in the morning but you do get used to it and it tastes great. It fills me up and I don’t get that morning dip where I suddenly feel hungry and reach for the biscuits. I used to get this when I ate cereals for breakfast.
I usually choose a smoothie from my favourite cookbook Clean & Lean by James Duigan. I particularly like the berry smoothie which has blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, natural yoghurt, cinnamon and rice milk.
3. Scrambled Egg & Spinach
I scramble 2 - 3 eggs (with butter) depending on how hungry I am and add a serving of baby leaf spinach. I find high protein breakfasts fill me up for longer.
4. Banana Fritter
I simply mix 2 eggs and a banana together, add 2 table spoons of mixture into the pan with a little melted butter and heat. These are great and taste really sweet if you use very ripe bananas. They are quick and easy to make and are also a great snack for the kids. My children love them.
5. Porridge With Almond Milk & Berries
I very occasionally make porridge with rolled oats and almond milk. I add a handful of raspberries for added flavour
